Our story dates back to 1987. Since this time, we have always believed the most qualified company is a manufacturer who specializes only in shutters. Our vision was to be the leading local manufacturer, not a middleman, window-covering company, or big box store. We are now one of the largest customer interior shutter companies in the Orange County area.

Today, we have earned a strong reputation and are one of the last standing shutter companies and have manufactured and installed shutters in over 40,000 homes since 1987.

Owned and managed by David Harris and John Stahman, they are fully active in the management of the business. Their backgrounds in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have allowed them to be leaders in custom finishing and manufacturing which is represented in the quality of every shutter manufactured and installed by Golden West Shutters.
