THE CLASSIC
The name describes it best. Classic seamless design with straight edge rails creates a simply elegant shutter. The most commonly used design with the wide moldings to direct attention to the molding.

Hidden seams with a beautifully beveled interior edge surrounding the louvers enhance this simply elegant shutter. The design is most used by interior designers.

GW Shutters is very professional and shutters are well made/great qualtiy. I highly recommend them. Dave came out to measure and although there was a little snafu with the shutters being too tall, they were able to rectify this and install them the next day (the benefit of being locally made). Jacob, the installer, was very professional.
Golden West Shutters custom built and installed shutters for three of my windows and I couldn't be happier. The owner, Dave, and installer, Neil, were both very professional in every respect. I value that they are a local So Cal company and that they manufacture the shutters themselves locally, rather than outsourcing the manufacturing. Also, they have very fair prices. I received a quote from another company that outsources the manufacturing and it was about twice as much as Golden West Shutters!
After replacing our windows, we asked the owner if he had a recommendation for a company who installs shutters. He emphatically recommended Golden West Shutters. We visited the showroom and received an education on the various styles and sizes of shutters to choose from. We were given a tour of the on-site factory where the shutters are manufactured and were shown the different finishes and colors, including custom colors to meet your needs. Measurements were done at our home and samples were brought so we could compare the look of shutters with different size louvers. We had two major concerns that were addressed during the measuring of the windows. Our living room has two story high windows that are cut on an angle parallel to the slanted roof line. How do you make shutters to fit those windows? You can see on the attached photo that the shutters fit perfectly. The other concern was to have shutters on our sliding door that would allow us to have access to the door while the louvers on the shutters were open. The design option in the photo is what we wanted and it works perfectly. The installation was done by one very skilled and experienced person, Neil. Much to my surprise, he works alone and with such speed and accuracy, including the installation of the two story high shutters. His finishing touches just accentuates the beauty of a high quality shutter. Kudos to the employees who work in the factory. The shutters were painted and assembled to perfection. I highly recommend Golden West Shutters to anyone looking for a high quality shutter that will improve the beauty of your home.
Golden West Shutters in Lake Forest came highly recommended by friends who used them over 20 years ago. Dave, the owner came to discuss our shutter needs and measure our windows. When we learned, they manufacture the shutters locally, we also visited the show room where we were met with the kind, helpful and courteous staff to help us finalize our decisions.
