Golden West Shutters is a very straight forward business to deal with and builds their product here locally in Orange County, California. The pair of shutters shown in the two pictures were built as replacements. The original shutter set was not made in the USA, used PVC overlays for the frame and louvers and were very heavy because of the assembly design. Because of the weight, the composite frames sagged over time and could not remain square. Bass wood is a lighter superior material for shutters.
