Bay & bow geometry
Bay and bow windows are never quite square. Every panel needs to match its specific opening, and the hinges have to be placed so adjacent panels don't collide. Imported sets can't do this.
Best for
Bay windows in dining rooms, living rooms, breakfast nooks. Bow windows on traditional Orange County homes.
What sets it apart
We measure the real angles of your bay or bow. Each panel is milled to that specific geometry.
Panel hinges are positioned so adjacent panels swing without clashing. No corner gaps, no rattles.
All panels finish to match. The bay reads as one window treatment, not several mismatched units.

See poly shuttersA standard three-panel bay window in white poly typically runs about $1,200 to $2,400. The same window in stained North American basswood runs more, roughly $1,800 to $3,500. Larger bays, custom paint or stain colors, and unusual angles raise the price. We give you an exact number for your specific window in a written estimate after we measure.
We make 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch louvers, and 3.5-inch is the more common choice for bay windows. The wider louver reads as cleaner lines across the multiple panels and competes less with the larger window structure. The 2.5-inch louver works if you prefer a more traditional look or have a smaller bay. We bring both sizes to the consultation so you can hold them up against the actual window.
Café-height covers only the lower half of the window and leaves the top open, which suits a bay window that faces a street or sidewalk. You get privacy at eye level while daylight still comes in above. Full-height with a divider rail, called tier-on-tier, is the other option, and it lets you operate the top and bottom halves separately. Full-height makes more sense in a living room where you sometimes want to close the whole window for sun or privacy.
Yes. A bow window is a set of windows joined at gentle angles to form a curve, and we build a separate panel for each section so the line follows the curve. We measure the real angle between each window rather than assuming they are equal. The hinges are positioned by hand so neighboring panels open without hitting each other. This is the same approach we use for angled bay windows.
Custom plantation shutters are treated as a fixture in most Orange County listings, and buyers usually want them to stay with the house. Because a bay window is often the focal point of a room, fitted shutters make that feature look finished rather than awkward. Off-the-rack blinds and drapes rarely fit a bay correctly, so a clean custom fit stands out to buyers. They carry a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship, which transfers as part of the home.
