Plantation shutter showroom in Lake Forest
Most people don't buy custom shutters often, so feeling unsure about the options is normal. Our showroom gives you a place to handle full-size displays, compare materials and finishes in person, and talk to the people who build them — before you commit to a long-term investment.
Step inside the showroom
A short look at the showroom floor and the factory it's attached to, so you know what to expect before you visit. Walk in any time during business hours.

Meet the team
You sit down with the people who build it
When you visit, you meet our owners, Dave and John — not a commission salesperson working a quota. Dave’s background is in industrial engineering and John’s is in mechanical engineering, and they treat shutters as fine cabinetry for your windows. If a window is arched, off-square, or unusual in any way, they can sketch a solution with you right at the design desk.
What you'll figure out in person
Three choices are hard to make from photos and swatches. The showroom is built to resolve all three in one visit.
Wood, poly, or Polylux
Compare the three materials side by side, in the same light. Real wood for living spaces, poly for high-moisture rooms, and our exclusive Polylux hybrid when you want the look of wood with the durability of poly in every room.
Inside or outside mount
See how an inside mount sits flush and recessed, and how an outside mount frame elongates the opening and maximizes your view. It is hard to picture from a flat drawing, so we let you look at both.
Frame and panel balance
Pair a minimal frame with a deeper panel, or a simple panel with a decorative frame that reads like crown molding. Our displays let you hold the combinations next to each other before you decide.

See it next to the imported version
We keep a full-size imported, pre-assembled shutter mounted right beside one of ours. It usually takes about thirty seconds to see the differences for yourself.
Corners
Run your hand along the joints. Our mitered corners stay tight and flush; many pre-assembled imports show a visible seam that opens over time.
Hinges
We mortise our hinges into the frame, so they sit recessed with a clean, even gap. Surface-screwed hinges tend to leave a wider, uneven line.
Finish
Ours is a multi-coat furniture-grade lacquer that wraps every edge. Molded synthetic panels are colored with a dye rather than painted, which can look thinner at the edges.

See real, finished orders in the staging bay
Our showroom address is our factory address, which means our finished-goods area usually holds 15 to 20 completed custom projects waiting for installation. Instead of a drawing, we can walk you over to a real, finished shutter built to dimensions close to your own windows. Seeing and operating an actual panel removes the guesswork about proportions and final quality.

Take real paint samples home
A paper color card almost never matches what you see under your own morning light or evening lamps. So we hand you physical wood and composite blocks sprayed in our own paint booth. Prop them up in your window, live with them for a day or two, and your color choice is settled before we arrive to measure.
15 standard white and off-white finishes, plus unlimited custom color matching.
A relaxed space, not a retail floor
We're a local, family-run shop, and the showroom is meant to feel that way.
No sales pressure
Explore the displays and ask questions at your own pace. You’re welcome to visit first, then schedule a free consultation once you know what you want.
Bring the kids and the dog
We keep water bowls and treats on hand and have room for family of all ages. Direct-access parking on Pascal Way means you can walk straight in.
Bring broken hardware
Even if you bought elsewhere, stop by with a broken louver clip, magnet, or tension pin. We’re happy to hand you a replacement and show you how to reset it. More on repairs.
Cabinetry quality, built factory-direct
Buying directly from the factory removes the international shipping, port costs, and middle-man margins that resellers build into their pricing. That can make our custom, locally built shutters surprisingly competitive with mass-produced imported sets.

Showroom questions
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
No. You are welcome to walk in and browse the displays at your own pace during business hours. If you are bringing photos of unusual windows or want dedicated time with one of the owners, calling ahead at 949-951-0600 is a good idea so we can have the right person ready.
Can I see completed orders for other homes when I visit?
Yes. Because the showroom is attached to the factory, we usually have 15 to 20 finished custom projects staged and waiting for installation. We can pull one built to dimensions similar to your own windows so you can see and operate a real, finished panel before you order.
Can I take color samples home to check them in my room?
Yes. We offer 15 standard white and off-white finishes plus custom color matching. Rather than paper cards, we give you real wood or composite blocks sprayed in our own paint booth, so you can test them under your home's natural and evening light before your measurement.
Are your installers in-house employees?
Yes. Every installer is a full-time member of our own crew, not a third-party subcontractor. Because they coordinate schedules at the Lake Forest facility, you can often meet the person who will be working in your home during your visit.
When do we schedule the actual installation?
Often right during your showroom visit. Because we control our own factory calendar, we can open it and lock in your installation date on the spot. Most projects ship and install in 3 to 5 weeks.
Can I bring my dog or my kids?
Absolutely. We keep water bowls and treats on hand for dogs, and there is plenty of room for kids to move around safely. There is also direct-access parking on Pascal Way, so you can walk straight in.
